The Shoe Drop Tester Model S0007 is designed to determine the impact resistance of protective toecaps. A 27 kg mass falls freely on vertical guides onto the protective toecap. The machine is designed so that a mass weighing 20.0 +/- 0.2 kg is allowed to fall freely on vertical guides through various predetermined heights.
